About Us

Resting Pitch Face is currently celebrating its 11th year as a group! Originally founded during the 2015-2016 school year by student Madel Presto, the group started with just 13 members. Since performing their first song, Electric Light Orchestra's hit "Mr. Blue Sky," Resting Pitch Face has grown in size and recognition. 2022 marked the release of their debut album Starting Pitch, and most recently, the group participated in the 2025 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Midwest Quarterfinal, where they received first place and advanced to the 2025 ICCA Midwest Semifinals. Today, Resting Pitch Face consists of 16 members from seven states and six IU schools
